Getting the badge is only the beginning. This program focuses on making the transition from firefighter to company officer and understanding the responsibility that comes with leading other firefighters.
The class covers fireground tactics and decision-making, managing personalities, earning respect instead of demanding it, correcting problems within the company, training your members, dealing with senior firefighters, accountability, and knowing when it is time to push your company forward. It also addresses balancing the responsibilities of being an officer with your career, family, and life outside the firehouse.
3-Hour Training Session: All necessary technology is provided by Greco Emergency Logistics, with the exception of internet access. Travel within New Jersey is included. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside of New Jersey based on distance and location.
Payment Options: Payment is due within 30 days following the scheduled lecture. Purchase orders (POs) are not accepted as a form of payment. Accepted payment methods include cash, check (made payable to Greco Emergency Logistics, LLC), or Zelle (grecoemergencylogistics@gmail.com).
Balances remaining unpaid after 30 days may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% annually), or the maximum amount permitted by law, whichever is less, until the outstanding balance is paid in full.
