This program addresses command-level tactics, major fireground decisions, managing officers and firefighters, developing the next generation of leaders, departmental accountability, and recognizing when tactics need to change.
Just as importantly, the class discusses the side of being a chief that is rarely taught: dealing professionally with politicians and governing bodies, department politics, budgets and competing interests, protecting your members while maintaining relationships outside the firehouse, balancing the position with your family and personal life, and recognizing when leadership means stepping aside and allowing the next generation to move forward.
3-Hour Training Session: All necessary technology is provided by Greco Emergency Logistics, with the exception of internet access. Travel within New Jersey is included. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside of New Jersey based on distance and location.
Payment Options: Payment is due within 30 days following the scheduled lecture. Purchase orders (POs) are not accepted as a form of payment. Accepted payment methods include cash, check (made payable to Greco Emergency Logistics, LLC), or Zelle (grecoemergencylogistics@gmail.com).
Balances remaining unpaid after 30 days may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% annually), or the maximum amount permitted by law, whichever is less, until the outstanding balance is paid in full.
